You know how you hear a song and it gets stuck in your head? For me, some lyrics are like that. When I hear one of these lines I think, hmm... never thought of saying it that way, that's a neat way to put it or how'd they come up with that? I love all kinds of music, especially the 80's, my musical generation. Here's a line that I've always remembered from Hall and Oates:
Broken ice still melts in the sun

I have reading moods, sometimes I can read several books at once and finish them in a timely manner. Other times it takes me f-o-r-e-v-e-r to get through even the shortest of books.
I'm sure everyone has their own guidelines by which they choose books. Mine are pretty simple, keep it clean in language and situation. I don't mind a few mild expletives, as far as adult situations, suggest it, leave most of it to the imagination. Isn't that part of what reading is about, using your imagination?

The transition of the blog seems to have gone pretty smoothly. Except for the double Twitter tweets (sorry about that), all went well. I have taken care of the double tweets and it shouldn't happen again. Thanks to everyone for sticking around.
Now back to blogging.

OK, so I've dated myself with that title. Anyway...
I've tried to keep this blog limited to my quilting only. Because it takes me some time to finish quilts by hand, it seems the blog is forgotten. This is not true. I enjoy doing the blog and sharing what I've done. So, in an effort to keep the blog current I am incorporating all the other social media I maintain on other subjects into this one place.
Here are the upcoming changes:

I haven't forgotten about his blog. I've been busy working on several projects, none of which I feel are complete enough to feature yet. However, I do have some new ideas for this blog to keep it updated a little more frequently. Changes are coming soon! Stick around and see what happens.
