I'd had an idea for this project in my head for over a year. I'd had some of the fabric for it hanging around for more than fifteen years. At first, I'd thought to give it as a Christmas gift for my parents but thought again and decided it would make a much better anniversary gift.
If you would have told me back in the day I would get excited over an ironing board I probably would have looked at you like I had just seen a leprechaun riding a unicorn floating down the river on the back of the Loch Ness Monster, it could never happen! My idea of ironing in those days was to put the shirt between the cushions of the sofa and sit on them a day or so and the wrinkles would work themselves out. My how things change!
I have renamed my blog! I wanted to include more than just quilting and I think the new name will suit the new content better. I set myself a goal to have the new name and look up on February 1 and here it is. I'm still getting it organized. Yes, it is a work in progress but I'll get it together. I'm hoping to post more often. I've got a lot of new projects in the works, lots of other things and adventures to share. Stick around to see what unfolds. Follow me on twitter for new post notifications and notes from the road!
